How To Shop Online

Step 1: Log in or Register

Forget supermarket queues

Spend just five minutes registering (make sure you activate your account by clicking on the link in the confirmation email sent to you) and then simply log into the site whenever you want to shop. You need to log in to order any food.

Step 2: Select delivery day & time

Now delivering 5 days with next day delivery!

You can choose delivery or pick up from Urban Harvest on any week day, from Monday to Friday. You need to order by 2pm if you want next day delivery or pick up.

Select your delivery or pick up day and time by clicking on the calendar icon which you will find under the welcome message on the home page and beside the the text which tells you how many items are in your shopping bag. Make sure you select the delivery time or pick up option from the drop down list below the calendar and click on DONE to apply your selection.

If you live in Wellington City, anywhere between Seatoun and Johnsonville, you can choose delivery between either 3:30-5:30pm or 5:30-7:30pm. If you live in the wider delivery area (see below), delivery is between 2-4pm only.

You can also pick up your order between 4-6pm from 29 Hania St, Mt Victoria, Wellington.

If you want delivery in the wider delivery zone, some products are not available for next day delivery. You will be alerted to this and your options (e.g. selecting another delivery day, removing the item from your bag or alternative products that might be available for next day delivery) when you add that item to your bag.

If you are not going to be around to receive delivery, specify a cool, shady and discreet place for us to leave your order in the delivery instructions when you're checking out.

If you want to be reminded to order we can send you a text reminder on any day (just tick the relevant box in your profile).

Step 3: Find fresh food

In an instant

To start, click the food categories at the top of the homepage. Select a sub-category and then your desired product.

To find out more about the product, simply click on More Info and you'll see the description, the producer and list of ingredients.

You can shop via your favourite producer too. Select 'Producers' from the main menu and buy food direct from their stall. Or, if you know what you're after, simply type in details to the search function at the top of the page.

Once you've selected a product, enter the quantity you want and add it to your shopping bag.

To return to the home page at any time, click on the Urban Harvest logo at the top left of your screen.

Check your shopping bag at any time by clicking on the shopping bag at the top right corner. You can save up to 5 shopping lists for future use. Just scroll to the bottom of your shopping list and click on "save your shopping list".

If you've got more time, you can browse the producer stalls, read about the food or what other people think about producers.

Step 4: Delivered to your door

Real convenience
Start checking out at any time by clicking the 'checkout' button. Next, select your delivery address. You can choose to send a delivery to a friend or family member by ticking the box with text that delivery address is different from billing address. If you want a message included in your order, please note what you would like us to say in the delivery instructions.

Urban Harvest delivers to households and offices in Wellington City and all suburbs from Johnsonville in the north to Seatoun in the South. We also deliver north from Tawa to the Kapiti Coast and the Wairarapa and through to Upper Hutt, Lower Hutt and Eastbourne (the wider delivery area), excluding rural addresses. All products come in Urban Harvest chiller bags, with ice packs to keep food at the right temperature. Sometimes we send frozen items in poly bins if they won%u2019t fit in chiller bags or if you live in the Wider Delivery Area.

For deliveries within Wellington City (Johnsonville to Seatoun), the delivery fees are:
- $12 delivery for orders up to $99
- $9 for orders from $100 to $199.99; and
- $6 for orders $200 and over.

For deliveries to the wider delivery zone (the Hutt Valley, Eastbourne, Tawa to Pukerua Bay, Kapiti Coast and the Wairarapa), the delivery fees are:
- $14 for orders under $100
- $11 for orders from $100 to $199.99
- $8 for orders $200 and over

There are no delivery fees (or any other fees) if you opt to pick up your order.

Step 5:Checkout & Pay

Pay using Visa or Mastercard. We use Payment Express to securely authorise credit card payments.

All prices are in NZ currency and will be billed in New Zealand dollars.

Helping us to help the environment

Bag and ice pack return
To minimise environmental impact we use Reuseable eco-friendly bags. These bags and the ice packs inside them belong to Urban Harvest and need to be returned. Help us save the environment one bag at a time by returning your Urban Harvest bags as soon as possible after receipt.

If you live in Wellington City delivery area, please leave these out when you expect your next order. If you live in the wider delivery area, you can either get in touch with us when you%u2019ve stockpiled a few bags on 3854200 & we%u2019ll arrange for a courier to pick them up. Or you can also drop them to:
- UH HQ at 29 Hania St, Mt Victoria (before midday);
- Zuleika Caf? at 123, the Parade, Island Bay (between 8am-4pm weekdays or 9am-2pm Saturday);
- Word of Mouth Caf? at 100 Molesworth St, Thorndon (between 7am-5pm weekdays);
- Hill St Farmers%u2019 Market information stall between 9am-1pm on Saturday;
- Harringtons Small Goods, 24B Tauhinu Rd, Miramar;
- NZ Couriers Depot, 401 Hutt Road, Lower Hutt;
- Brumby%u2019s Johnsonville, 88 Johnsonville Road;
- Waikanae Butcher, 42 Main Road, Waikanae; or
- 58Base at 2/25 Ulric Street, Plimmerton.
If you don't return bags within 30 days, we may charge you a fee of $2.50 per bag. This will be added to your next order.

Freshness guarantee & hassle-free replacement
If you are not happy with any produce, we'll replace that item free of charge. If we can't replace it, we'll refund you that amount or give you an alternative product of your choosing. Please let us know by calling 04 385 4200 or email info@urbanharvest.co.nz.
